Update on Pastor Robinson
On Wednesday morning, Oct. 17, 2007, Pastor Jim Robinson suffered a cardiac arrest. Praise God that He has heard our prayers and has sustained Pastor Robinson's life.
While we rejoice that Pastor Robinson's recovery has allowed him to join us on Sunday mornings and serve in some limited capactities, the Robinson's and his medical professionals, in conjunction with the leadership of Christ Lutheran Church have determined that it's in everybody's best interest that steps be taken to allow the congregation to move forward while he continues to recover.
Therefore, at our voters' meeting on April 27, 2008, the congregation unanimously voted to supplement Pastor Robinson's Diploma of Vocation (aka job description) so that his duties are in line with his physical abilities. Please continue to pray for his complete recovery.
